Disney earlier announced the capture of South Korean games developer, Studio EX, which somewhat surprised the industry. Studio EX has yet to have any matured title, although it has an US office as well. Its most notable title might be Neosaurs, currently on Facebook.Studio EX will be the development hub for Disney to enter the lucrative and competitive Free-to-Play multiplayer market in the East. Mobile games are in Disney’s sights as well with this purchase. Disney took the limelight recently when it signed a deal with Korean studio Smilegate to develop a MOBA title using the Marvel IP.
