The Japan server for Ragnarok Online, published by GungHo Online Entertainment, will be getting a major update on 17 May based on the new job, Rebel (Rebellion in Japan, should be lost in translation). To access the Rebel job, players must have a Gunslinger class who is at base level 99 and job level 70, along with a chain of quests. There is now news if the English server is getting this content.
Interestingly, Rebels can swap between 5 different weapons, including pistol, rifle, shotgun, gatling gun, and grenade launcher. Each weapon will provide gamers with a different set of skills, some more useful for War of Emperium, others for solo PVP. There is also a set of skills which consumes zeny, just like the Merchant job! I will keep a watchout for any gameplay videos, so stay tuned!
