During the media conference between Pearl Abyss and CCP Games, the studio behind Black Desert Online revealed new details about one of its in-development games, Project V (the other confirmed one being Project K). Project V is a casual, family-friendly title and will be made on a brand new game engine, similar with Project K. When asked by the media on why the new projects are not using the Black Desert game engine, it was stated that the engine is already 9 years old even though it is still competitive. The new game engine will aid Pearl Abyss in leaping forward and compete with global AAA titles with improved quality. The first teaser poster for Project V can be seen below. Stay tuned for updates!
